Welcome to The Rose of Limenaria!
I’m Fotis, and together with my wife, we invite you to our home by the sea, a small collection of studios and apartments on the beautiful island of Thassos.
After years of dreaming and months of careful work, we finally opened our doors in 2025. We hope you’ll find what you need here to truly relax and feel at home.
Why “The Rose”?
There is only one “Rose” in Limenaria — my wife and lifelong partner, Rosemary. She first dreamed of this place on our honeymoon, a long time ago. So when the time came to name it, it was the obvious choice!
Each of our studios and apartments offers a beautiful view of the sea, along with all the things you need for a comfortable stay. You’ll find a fully equipped kitchenette, orthopedic bed, Wi-Fi, and thoughtful touches like beach umbrellas you can borrow.
In the morning, you’re welcome to join us for breakfast between 8:30 and 11:30. Οr, if you prefer, we can prepare a picnic basket for the beach. Need help planning your day? Whether it’s a hidden cove for swimming, the best local taverna, or advice on renting a scooter, we’re here and happy to assist. We can also prepare a light lunch or stock your fridge with your favorite drinks — especially useful if you're arriving late.
You’ll find us just a 5-minute walk from the sea and only a short stroll from the heart of Limenaria. For those arriving by car, we offer free, private parking. And in our peaceful garden, you’ll find quiet corners to sit and simply enjoy doing nothing at all — which we believe is one of the best things to experience on Thassos.
If you need anything during your stay — a forgotten toothbrush, directions to a secret beach, or just a friendly chat — don’t hesitate to ask. We believe true hospitality is found in the smaller details, and we’ll always do our best to make your holiday special.
